In this article I will give the low down on Thai women as a whole. There has been a lot of interest in them as more guys gain experience in Thailand. Most foreigners end up being infatuated with them – or have been at some point. I know a few guys personally that ended up marrying Thai women. Here I will give more details about the ladies in Thailand and do some comparisons with women from other countries. I believe every man should at try to date at least one of throughout their journey. It can be an interesting experience. And although Thailand is in South East Asia, they have a warmness to their personality that doesn’t really resemble other countries in the area. Thai girls have a warm and loving personality.
What Do Thai Women Look Like?
Physical Features
One thing I noticed right away is the bodies of Thai women. Most of them have very well proportioned bodies and are slim. It is very common to see small frames, with nice legs and very feminine facial features. They usually have silky smooth skin and jet black hair. Some of them have amazing legs and thighs. I have met some Thai ladies with a slim upper body and amazing strong and sexy legs and thighs. Most Thai women have darker skin when compared to other Asians like Korean or Japanese women.
You do also find some lighter skinned Thai girls, but it is not the majority. One thing you will notice is that Thai girls love white skin. Throughout Thai culture and media, white skin is somehow idolized. They even put make up foundation to make their skin whiter. When you look on their Thai TV shows and commercials, you will mostly see white skinned Thai ladies. It is very rare that you will see darker skinned girls in their media and advertisements.
Personalities
One thing I will tell you now is that Thai women can be extremely jealous and crazy at times. They go to extremes with their emotions. However, their sweet nature and feminine characteristics make up for all this. Thai girls know how to be sexy, both physically and emotionally. They will make you feel good about being a man.
I have said it before and I will say it again, they know their gender role perfectly at times. They will cook you tasty Thai food without even thinking about it. They will allow you to lead. And they surely know how to please a man in bed. The girls have big hearts and are very open-minded.
Comparison to Western Girls
Eastern culture in general, is not the same as westernized cultures. In Thailand, the girls understand the importance of gender roles, and when to allow the man to be simply be a man. Thai women don’t really play games when it comes to the courting process. If she likes you, you will know. Once they like you, they are not concerned about “playing hard to get” or to hide their affection. In Thailand the women expect the man to play the manly role and to show his assertiveness in the interaction.
In Western cultures it sometimes pays off if you play hard to get, or to not show your interest in a girl. However, in Thailand that can actually work against you and deter her from liking you. The ladies here love guys that have leadership and independent qualities. They love guys that can support themselves and manage their life. This is one reason that many of them prefer foreign guys over Thai guys. Thai men have had a reputation of being lazy, unfaithful, and feminine like. This is not me saying this. It is the many girls that have told me this. Here are some good points I have noticed about most Thai Women:
- They are generally very clean and have good hygiene
- Good dressers and sense of style
- Well mannered
- Have a giving nature about them (unselfish)
- Enjoy cooking for a man
- Very social and fun to be with
- Family oriented
- Good in sex, and open-minded
and here are some bad things I have noticed in some of them:
- Can be very jealous and hot tempered
- emotionally unstable (too clingy or attached)
- not good at managing money/business
- have “gold digger” personalities, obsessed with money
Language Barrier With Thai Women
One of the tough things about dealing with the women in Thailand is the issue of language. Although the English language is very popular and widely seen on the billboards, street signs, and products. It is still not spoken by the majority of the women. Some of them can understand what you say and keep a very basic conversation going, but the majority of Thai women simply can’t speak English. This is one reason many men try to take a few lessons on the Thai language. I’ll be honest, it can have its advantages. Especially if you want to meet Thai girls from other parts of the country that isn’t heavily foreigner influenced.

Bangkok
Bangkok is the capital city. This place has scores of hot Thai girls all over the city. From the hip night clubs at RCA (Royal City Avenue) to the gogo bars in the red light districts, there is never a shortage of Thai women in Bangkok. Bangkok has the highest population of girls, and possibly the highest concentration of good-looking women in Thailand. You will see plenty of young professionals, students, and bar girls and freelancers. Bangkok can be tougher to pick up the hotter “normal” girls if you go to the more upscale venues or night clubs. It can be done, you just need to have your game in order, and look and dress good.
You will be competing with the Thai guys for the girls attention. Thai girls are hesitant to flirt with foreign guys around other Thai people. They don’t want to look like a hooker or freelancer in public. Sometimes Thai women get easily judged if they are seen flirting with a foreigner. Even some of my serious girlfriends were judged by other Thais when we were in public. It is not a big deal, but it is good to just keep in mind.
Pattaya
The world famous Pattaya also has plenty of Thai women all over. The difference in Pattaya is that you will not see as many young professionals as Bangkok. Pattaya has much more bar girls and short time visitors. Many Thai women take weekend getaways to Pattaya with their friends. The good thing about this place is that it is never boring, with plenty of girls to go around.
Phuket (Patong)
Similar to Pattaya, Patong and the surrounding areas has plenty of sexy Thai women working in the sex industry. From freelancers in the discos, to gogo girls, to “normal” girls online. you will find plenty of girls here to meet. There are also plenty of “normal” Thai girls that come to visit on holiday. This northern city has a relaxed vibe. Chiang Mai is beautiful with the mountainous scenery and the many Buddhist Temples. It also has plenty of Thai women that you could meet.
