They are especially popular in cities like Pattaya and Patong which have a huge beer bar scene.

KTV’s are also well-known in other parts of South East Asian and in the Philippines. Customers can order drinks, and can choose a lady to come hang out with them at a set rate (per hour). Some KTV’s in Thailand allow for take out.
